Hey, whats up? ok lets cut the crap - Just letting you know that tumblr must stay the way it is, or every person on tumblr will come together and buy it back. This is a place where each individual comes and expresses themselves wether it’s through porn, fan fiction, fashion, art, rp’s, story writing, shipping/OTPs, photography, fandoms, quotes, music, health blogs and hipster blogs. Tumblr is the home to all of these variying people.
Please also respect some people rely on tumblr, as somewhere they can be themselves, as they are rejected in reality. Some have disabilities, disorders and health problems, some are socially awkward, and tumblr can give them support, people to talk to, and encourage them. My friend, who has a tumblr account talked someone out of killing themselves, and I’m sure they aren’t the first.
The people who are going to use tumblr the most, and the people who you will make money from, will probably be the people with blogs that you wish to make “more family friendly”. Tumblr would not be tumblr without the shipping, and occasional gay porn *cough* sherlock *cough*, and everything else. On behalf of tumblr, please don’t try to alter tumblr for the wrong audience. Oh and thank you for purchasing tumblr, and not letting it shut down, remember with great power comes great responsibility…
